Reshad Jones is a strong safety on the Miami Dolphins. As a ninth-year veteran, Jones has continually made an impact on the team as he was selected to play in the Pro Bowl twice and lead his position group during the 2017 season with 122 tackles. Prior to being drafted by the Dolphins in the fifth round (163rd overall) of the 2010 NFL Draft, Jones was a three-year letterman and a two-year starter at the University of Georgia. There he was named second-team All-SEC in two consecutive seasons.
In addition to his on-field achievements, Jones is also a part of the Guinness Book of World Records for throwing a 31-yard pass to himself. Jones is an avid supporter of the Above .500, a non-profit foundation with a mission to improve the lives of the youth through education and the art of sport. In the past, he has hosted celebrity basketball and softball games and had donated the proceeds to his high school, Washington High School in Atlanta, GA, for new school uniforms and school supplies.
